UnitedHealth Group Settlement: AMA Offers Support To Physicians With Claims

The American Medical Association (AMA) is offering support to those that were affected by the improper business practices of UnitedHealth Group. Funds of more than $350 million will be availble to physicians and patients to compensate for 15 years of artificially low payments for out-of-network services . Physicians are now receiving information and claim forms by mail. AMA has launched an online resource and guide to assist with eligibility, documentation, and filing the claim.
