What advice can you give me on the best EMR software for a solo Internal Medicine practice?

The answer to this question is not as simple as ABC. There is not a one size fits all solution. I would suggest that we schedule a call to discuss the following:
Do you need lab interfaces?
Do you want to use an ASP model?
Do you need connectivity with a hospital? How many??
Do you need devices connected? ECG? Holter?
How important is receiving the Stimulus money?
Will you practice ever grow?
What is your budget?
Do you have IT support?
These are just a couple of the quick questions. A good consultant such as myself charges $250.00 per hour. We can save you thousands of dollars.
And we have not even started with what you need to negotiate on an EMR contract yet!
