Holter Event ECG Recording
A Holter Event ECG recording is a digital recording of a patient’s heart rhythm. The patient can wear the device, which is a portable ECG monitor that can record a patient’s heart rhythm continuously for up to 24 hours. The Holter Event ECG recording will alert the physician to aberrations in a patient’s heart rhythm that cause symptoms such as fainting and dizziness. The Holter Event ECG recording will allow the physician to detect abnormalities in a patient’s heart rhythm when the patient is taking part in normal activities and while the patient sleeps.
