Ketone Analyzers

Ketone analyzers are laboratory devices that measure patient fluid samples for the presence of biochemical structures known as ketones. Ketones are biochemical substances that result from partial breakdown of triglycerides, especially following low carbohydrate intake such as during fasting, very low carbohydrate diets or from diabetes. Ketone analyzers are used by physicians in offices or medical clinics to test patient biological samples for the presence of ketones for diagnostic or treatment evaluation purposes.
