BLOOD GAS ANALYSERS

Blood gas analyzers are automated or semi-automated medical equipment that detect the presence of dissolved gasses in blood and determine their partial pressures in solution. Blood gas analyzers measure levels of dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide as well as measuring Ph levels in arterial blood samples.

Blood gas analyzers are used in physician offices and clinics to monitor a variety of patient conditions such as asthma and chronic lung diseases and to determine patient respiratory status and the adequacy of patient respiratory effort.
