Cystoscopes

Cystoscopes are medical devices that are used to visualize the bladder, lower urinary tract and prostate gland. The cystoscope is a variation of the endoscope, and can also be used to collect biological samples from patients for diagnostic testing.

There are two types of cystoscopes, a rigid device and a flexible device. Both types of cystoscopes are used in physician offices and in medical clinics as a visualization tool in aid of diagnosis of medical conditions and in establishing the efficacy of treatment.
