The iSED® is the perfect ESR system. The technical innovation of the iSED® consists of directly measuring the intensity of the red cell aggregation which is responsible for Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR). These results are unaffected by the variables commonly associated with traditional ESR testing, such as mixing of the sample and temperature. iSED’s results are also not affected by the hematocrit. This fully automated ESR analyzer only requires a 100 microliter sample volume and produces results in 20 seconds. iSED® has no disposables and works off primary EDTA tubes. Run up to 20 tests at once with a throughput of up to 180 samples per hour!
