Cutting Edge
The 1 Series is a small, portable unit designed for the treatment of localized areas of the body. Advances in efficiency and versatility have been achieved through use of a unique new lamp type with a 180 degree bend that delivers the power of two lamps in the space of one. With just four lamps, the 1 Series out-powers devices with double the number of conventional lamps.

Versatile
The Daavlin 1 Series is available with a wide variety of lamps with differing wavelengths; UVA, UVA1, Narrow Band UVB, Broad Band UVB, and SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) lamps. Because these lamps are electrically connected at just one end, they are very easy to change. This means that with just one investment and the purchase of a variety of different lamp types, you can have a highly versatile device at a very low cost.

Efficient
Because of the unique “180°” lamp design, the amount of UV available within the treatment area of the device is doubled, which translates into shorter treatment times. In addition, these lamps emit more output per unit of energy consumed than conventional lamps, making treatment times even shorter. In addition, fluorescent lamps typically have “dead” spots on both ends that emit almost no useful UV. Because of the “180°” design of the 1 Series lamps, the uniformity of the radiation at the ends of the device is superior to that of devices equipped with conventional lamps.

Comfort
The Daavlin 1 Series can lie flat making treatment of the hands comfortable and easy. A special UV transmitting acrylic shield covers and protects the lamps and provides a clear and unobstructed surface to rest the hands on during treatments.

Convenience
The 1 Series can also be positioned vertically on its end or side for conveniently treating the face or other localized areas of the body. Being extremely light weight and portable, the 1 Series is easy to move about the home or office and perfect for travel.

Advanced Technology
The environmentally friendly “Programmed Start” ballasts extend the lamp life, increase the energy output, and give the 1 Series an extremely low operating cost. Optional integrating dosimetry is available on all models, making it easy to deliver precise treatments.

Stand Assembly
An optional stand accessory allows the device to rotate to any angle for ease of treatment and improved patient comfort.

The Daavlin 4 Series is a medium sized unit for the treatment of localized areas of the body. Advances in efficiency and versatility have been achieved through engineering and design.

• A unique lamp type delivers the power of two lamps in the space of one.
• The cutting edge design delivers nearly double the output, which means proportionally shorter treatment times.
• UVA, UVA1, Narrowband UVB and Blue light are available with the Daavlin 4 Series.
• Low energy spots are eliminated in the 4 Series translating into an enhanced light uniformity, even at the edges of the device, allowing for a larger and more effective treatment area.
• Environmentally friendly “Programmed Start” ballasts extend lamp life, increase energy output, and give the 4 Series an extremely low operating cost.

Versatility

• The 4 Series can be equipped with a complement of 10 or 20 lamps to accommodate any level of need. The larger the number of lamps, the shorter the treatment times.
• A VESA mounting pattern on the back of the device makes it easily attachable to industry standard TV wall mounting devices.

Technology
The 4 Series is equipped with Daavlin's Flex Dosimetry System. Doses are entered in Joules for UVA and milliJoules for UVB. Conditions that affect output such as lamp age and room temperature are sensed and their effects are automatically integrated into the dose time. (Digital timer available upon request)

The UV Series offers the therapeutic effectiveness of ultraviolet phototherapy in a compact size. The attractive full-body unit encircles the patient completely so that every part of the body is treated at once for the shortest possible exposure times.

Economical
The 120V electrical requirements of the UV Series make it economical to operate, costing just pennies per treatment.

Space-smart Design
The unique elliptical design makes efficient use of valuable floor space, making it ideal where space conservation is a concern. Our UV Series occupies just half the floor space of competitive units.

Dosimeter Accuracy or Timer Simplicity
The Flex Dosimeter Control allows treatments to be entered in Joules (UVA) or milliJoules (UVB) as prescribed by the physician. A special UV sensor measures the intensity of the light and adjusts the treatment time to compensate for any variation in output due to aging of the lamps or other factors. This system affords the most accurate delivery of ultraviolet light therapy available in a phototherapy unit. Treatments are programmed in a few simple keystrokes. One touch operation allows you to conveniently begin, pause, or resume any treatment. The simpler Flex Timer Control option allows treatments to be entered in units of time only (minutes:seconds) as prescribed by the physician. The state-of-the-art digital timer provides treatment duration accuracy.

UV Series Platform
A platform custom made for the UV Series elevates the patient to the level of the lamps.

Safety Lock-Out
A programmable lock-out feature prevents unauthorized use. When activated, the user must enter a code to operate the unit.
