Dosimeter Accuracy or Timer Simplicity
The Flex Dosimeter Control allows treatments to be entered in Joules (UVA) or milliJoules (UVB) as needed. A special UV sensor measures the intensity of the light and adjusts the treatment time to compensate for any variation in output due to aging of the lamps or other factors. The Flex Dosimeter Control affords the most accurate delivery of ultraviolet light therapy available. Treatments are programmed in a few simple keystrokes. One touch operation allows you to conveniently begin, pause, or resume any treatment. The simpler Flex Timer Control option allows treatments to be entered in units of time only (minutes:seconds). The state-of-the-art digital timer provides treatment duration accuracy.

Safety Lock-Out
A programmable lock-out feature prevents unauthorized use. When activated, the user must enter a code to operate the unit.

Double Enclosure Doors
The 7 Series may be equipped with double door panels. These panels allow you to close the unit, keeping it safe and discreet when not in use. The doors may be equipped with additional lamps or specially designed reflectors to maximize UV light coverage. Cutting Edge
The 1 Series is a small, portable unit designed for the treatment of localized areas of the body. Advances in efficiency and versatility have been achieved through use of a unique new lamp type with a 180 degree bend that delivers the power of two lamps in the space of one. With just four lamps, the 1 Series out-powers devices with double the number of conventional lamps.

Versatile
The Daavlin 1 Series is available with a wide variety of lamps with differing wavelengths; UVA, UVA1, Narrow Band UVB, Broad Band UVB, and SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) lamps. Because these lamps are electrically connected at just one end, they are very easy to change. This means that with just one investment and the purchase of a variety of different lamp types, you can have a highly versatile device at a very low cost.

Efficient
Because of the unique “180°” lamp design, the amount of UV available within the treatment area of the device is doubled, which translates into shorter treatment times. In addition, these lamps emit more output per unit of energy consumed than conventional lamps, making treatment times even shorter. In addition, fluorescent lamps typically have “dead” spots on both ends that emit almost no useful UV. Because of the “180°” design of the 1 Series lamps, the uniformity of the radiation at the ends of the device is superior to that of devices equipped with conventional lamps.

Comfort
The Daavlin 1 Series can lie flat making treatment of the hands comfortable and easy. A special UV transmitting acrylic shield covers and protects the lamps and provides a clear and unobstructed surface to rest the hands on during treatments.

Convenience
The 1 Series can also be positioned vertically on its end or side for conveniently treating the face or other localized areas of the body. Being extremely light weight and portable, the 1 Series is easy to move about the home or office and perfect for travel.

Advanced Technology
The environmentally friendly “Programmed Start” ballasts extend the lamp life, increase the energy output, and give the 1 Series an extremely low operating cost. Optional integrating dosimetry is available on all models, making it easy to deliver precise treatments.

Stand Assembly
An optional stand accessory allows the device to rotate to any angle for ease of treatment and improved patient comfort.

Versatility

Technology
The 4 Series is equipped with Daavlin's Flex Dosimetry System. Doses are entered in Joules for UVA and milliJoules for UVB. This patented device reads processed Pette panels, measuring the intensity of the signal emitted by IgE antibodies bound to the allergen substrate.
